Who writes our content
Content on revivo.ca is published by Revivo Neurology Treatment Centre, an independent clinic at 525 Markham Road in Scarborough that has offered intensive therapy programs, including Intensive Suit Therapy (the TheraSuit Method), since 2013. Pages are written by the Revivo team for parents, patients and caregivers — people comparing therapy options, often after a diagnosis such as cerebral palsy, a brain injury or a stroke.
Program details — schedules, session lengths, protocols, what a rental includes and what things cost — come directly from the clinic's current services. When those details change, the page changes with them.
How we choose and use sources
When we describe what a therapy does or what the research says, we rely on:
- Public health authorities and regulators, such as Health Canada.
- Peer-reviewed research, including systematic reviews where they exist. Many of the studies behind our programs are collected in our research library so you can read them yourself and bring them to your physician.
- The clinic's own experience — what a typical intensive block looks like, how families schedule sessions and what questions come up most — clearly presented as experience, not as research findings.
We try to describe evidence honestly, including its limits. For example, research on suit therapy is still a small body of work, and we say so. Where a therapy is offered as a complementary therapy, or a use is not recognized by Health Canada, the page says so plainly.
What we will not do
- Promise cures, guaranteed results or recovery timelines.
- Publish statistics we cannot source, or round claims up to sound more impressive.
- Present one family's experience as what everyone should expect.
- Discourage anyone from following the advice of their own physician or specialist.
Testimonials and videos
The family stories on our testimonials page come from real Revivo patients and parents, and the therapy videos on our Suit Therapy page were filmed in our clinic. They describe individual experiences. Every person is different, and results vary with the condition, age, starting point and how consistently a program is followed.
Prices and program details
We publish our prices because families deserve to plan with real numbers: the free consultation, the $100 intake assessment and suit therapy at $122 per therapy hour. Prices and program details are accurate as of the "last updated" date shown on each page. Your written quote, confirmed at consultation, is always the final word.
Updates and corrections
Every page on this site shows the date it was last updated. We revisit our service pages whenever programs, prices or public guidance change, and we update older articles when we find information that is out of date.
If you spot something that looks wrong or unclear, please tell us: call 416-628-4232 or use our contact form. We review every correction request and update the page if a change is needed.
Medical disclaimer
Information on revivo.ca is general in nature and is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment from your own physician or specialist. Please talk to them before starting any new therapy, especially if you or your child has a seizure disorder, heart or lung condition, recent surgery or hip instability. In an emergency, call 911.
Independence and partnerships
We do not accept payment to publish or recommend products, services or other providers. Where we work with a partner organization, we say so on the relevant page.
